Court grants bail to Basadli burglary accused Sanchethi

Moodbidri, Nov 7, 2013: The court has granted bail to Subhash Sanchethi, a jeweler from Durg in Chattisgarh, one of the accused in the Siddantha Darshana Mandir burglary case. He was arrested on the charges of purchasing the stolen idols from Santosh alias Ghanashyam Das, the prime suspect in the case.

The court granted bail to Sanchethi close on the heels of the police securing possession of 12 of the stolen idols which were sent to the Mangalore Police Commissioner’s office through a special parcel.
