Karkala: One of two missing school boys traced in Chennai bound train

Karkala, Nov 29, 2013 :  One of the two class X boys of a school in Mulki who had gone missing mysteriously  on November 22,  has been traced in a Chennai bound train, while the other boy is  missing.

The boys namely Antony Pinto(15) from Hubli and Royston who stayed at the Kelambettu St John Bosco Church hostel in Bola were missing after they boarded the church bus to their school. It is learnt, they who alighted the bus, instead of going to school had  left  for Mangalore and had boarded a train to Chennai. Sources said fear of reprimand had forced the boys to the extreme step as they had reportedly stolen soft drink bottles from a shop in Kinnigoli.

 Of the two, Royston was found  sleeping in the train. The railway police  who  felt something fishy, questioned the boy when the truth came to light. However, Antony was not seen with him. The matter was soon brought to the notice of his family  which rushed to Swarnur junction railway station near Kallikote and brought him back to Karkala.

The whereabouts of Antony Pinto are still not known. Investigations are  underway.
