Provocative messages: 2 arrested in Kasargod

Kasargod, Dec 10, 2013 :  Two youth have been arrested by the Vidyanagar police for posting provocative and anti-national messages on Whatsapp.

The arrested are Mohammad Sirajuddin of Chalangod, Adur and PM Usman (25) from Chengala. Their messages varied and included topics like stone pelting to  rioting.

Of the two, Usman was first arrested by the police  in connection with the incident of stoning of buses. It was during interrogations that the cops came to know about the unlawful activity in which he was involved. Police have gathered that there were as many as 30 people who were involved in this task of texting provocative messages.
