Challenging Star Darshan adds charm to muhurat of Tulu movie “ Brahmashree Narayana Guru”

 Mulki, Dec 16, 2013 : Challenging star Darshan was the cynosure of all eyes at Mulki on December 15, Sunday when he gave the clap for the first scene  of the  Tulu movie “Brahmashree Narayana Guru Swami” during the Muhurat of the film at the outer yards of the Sri Durga Parameshwari Temple at Bappanadu near here.

The film is being brought out under the banner of Tungabhadra Films. Jayaprakash Hegde, MP of Udupi Chikmagalur constituency rolled on the camera.

The actor was specially honoured  on the occasion on behalf of the  Mulki Suvarna Arts. Speaking on the occasion, the actor said he was greatly inspired by the life and achievements of the great saint reformer. Such films should be well received by the  viewers, he said and added  the making of such movies also go a long way in enlightening the youngsters regarding such great personalities. He also hoped the film would win many laurels.

Jaya C Suvarna, President of Rashtriya Billawa Mahamandala presided over the function. Sudhaker Bannanje, script writer introduced the film cast and team.

Mangalore MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Sri Satyananda Swamiji of Kerala Shivagiri Mutt, Urban Development Minister Vinaykumar Sorake, MLA Pramod Madhwaraj,   Umanath Kotian, former president of Tulu Academy, Manohar Shetty, Managing Trustee of Bappanadu Temple, Venkatadri Bangalore, the actor who will don the role of Shree Narayana Guru in the film, Rajashekhar Kotian, Producer and Director,  Mulki Chandrashekhar Suvarna and others were present.
