2 students from city college missing; cops begin search

Mangalore, Jan 10, 2014: Two students, a boy and a girl studying in the Mangalore Institute of Fire and Safety Engineering at Pumpwell in Mangalore have been  reported missing since January 7, Tuesday.

If the girl named Madhushree hails from Puttur, the boy Mohammad Tahir is from Tenka Ermal in Udupi district. It is learnt, Madhushree who had attended college as usual on January 7, Tuesday however did not return home. Even her mobile phone was found switched off.

 Meanwhile, it was learnt that even Tahir was missing and that his cell phone too was switched off giving room for suspicion that the two have fled together.

Mangalore Rural Police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the two missing youngsters.
