World Theatre Day 2014 celebrated

Mangalore, Mar 29, 2014 : World Theatre Day 2014  was celebrated at Mandd Sobhann, Shaktinagar in the city on March 27, Thursday.

On this occasion, Roy Castelino, President of Konkani Sahitya Academy released  a book of two plays namely ’Mr Jesus’ and ’Jezu Bhonvarichyo Sthriyo’, authored by  Arun Raj Rodrigues.

 Louis Pinto, President of Mandd Sobhann,  , Eric Ozario, Christopher D’Souza, and Arun Raj Rodrigues were present as chief guests.

Prof. Vincent Alva gave a talk on Konkani plays.

Vitori Karkal,  Edi Netto, writer, Gladys Rego and others were present during the function.
