Labourer dies after falling from second floor

Mangalore, April 28, 2014: A 26-year-old labourer died after he reportedly fell down from the 2{+n}{+d}floor of an under-construction Mall opposite to Corporation Bank head office in Pandeshwar on Sunday. The Mangalore South has identified him as Ramdulare from Uttar Pradesh.

He was working at a portion let out to a retail outlet when reportedly lost control and fell down by 12 feet. The injured Ramdulare was moved to a hospital where he succumbed to death. On the complaint of Ramdulare’s colleague Dharmendra, the police have taken up a case of negligence against contractor Unnikrishnan under whom Ramdulare worked.
