VHP rally on May 12

Mangalore, May 10, 2014: Vishwa Hindu Parishath (VHP) and Bajarang Dal will take out a rally and hold a Public meeting here on May 12 protesting against what they termed “government’s anti-Hindu actions”.

Jithendra S. Kottary, District Darma Prasaran Pramukh of VHP, Mangalore, alleged at a press conference here that the State had dropped Karnataka Prevention of Slaughter and Preservation of Cattle Bill, 2010 passed by then BJP Government.

Stating that Karnataka was attempting to acquire temples, he said false police cases were being slapped  against members of Hindutva organizations besides trying to invoke the provisions of Goonda Act against them while appeasing the minorities.
