Case against Supplier-Huge amount of Steriods recouvered

Mangalore,May 15, 2014:  One Santosh Shetty, a resident of Attavar in the city, reportedly been sourcing classified steroid tablets and injections from  Bangalore and Mumbai. He supplied these to gymnasium members for many months now, Charging between Rs 3,000 and 4,000 for a single dose, sources stated.

  Illegal trading in restricted and controlled drugs once again came to the fore with recouvery of huge stocks by city drug control officials.

The assistant drug control officer, K V Nagaraj and a drug inspector raided the illegal den and seized a big quantity of tablets and injections. A case under clause 200.CrPC has been filed against the culprits.

This is a serious crime. It is widely reported that public needs to be cautious when buying  medicines from shady medical store outlets. Proper bill too must be demanded.
