Monsoon preparedness

Mangalore, May 20, 2014:  Deputy Commissioner A.B. Ibrahim on Monday reviewed preparation for the monsoon that was likely to start from May last week.

Mr. Ibrahim directed officials to identify places that are likely to be affected and make arrangements necessary for relief and rescue operations.

He asked officials to identify local swimmers, arrange for local boats, earth movers and trucks for relief operations.
