Tempo - Lorry collision injures many at Kallianpur-Santhakatte

Mangalore, May 31, 2014:  A  group of Tamil Nadu tourists on the way from Kollur to Udupi in a tempo traveller, met with an accident. Reports say the tempo traveller was moving at high speed and rammed into a lorry near KG Road-Santhekatte bridge.

The lorry was moving from Udupi to Kundapur.  Around 10 persons are  reported to be  injured in the accident. The tempo traveller’s driver sustained serious injuries.  The accident resulted in a traffic jam for over two hours. Udupi and Brahmavar, later  police arrived at the spot and cleared the road for flow of traffic.
