Burglers loot cash and valuables at Attavar

Mangalore, June 1, 2014: It is reported that a major theft has come to light  said to have happened between May 26-30 no day or time is yet pin pointed, as the occupants of the house were out of town. The house of B Ravichandra, near the Manipal School on VI cross road behind the KMC hospital in Attavar was burgled and the thieves made good with cash and valuables. Gold ornaments weighing 196 gms and Rs 5,000 have been missing;  as per early estimate   total loss has been placed at Rs 3.89 lakh.

The main entrance door was  found tampered and access gained by the thieves. The Pandeshwar police are investigating the case.
