Patna bomb blast case accused couple’s child critical

Mangalore, June 04, 2014 :  The infant of Ayesha Banu-Juber couple, who were arrested on the charges of financing the accused in Patna bomb blast case now in Raipur Jail  is , is ailing - the child is said to be less tahn ayear old. The jail authorities at Raipura in Chattisgarh has pasted a notice on the house of the couple at Panjimogaru.

The notice on the door reads (translated -e&oe)) “Ayesha Banu is serving as an undertrail in Raipura central jail. As her 11 month old child is ailing, the jail authorities have shifted the child to Dr B R Ambedkar Hospital for treatment on May 23. The notice has been pasted to inform the family members”.

Ayesha Banu and her husband Juber were arrested by the Bihar police, on the charges of financing accused in Bihar blast on November 12. Ayesha had taken her infant child along with her. At present, nobody stays in the house at Panjimogaru. Her son Ameer and a daughter are staying with their other relatives now.

“We came to know of the notice four days ago. I have contacted Raipura jail officials, who in turn have informed that the child is recovering,” said a member of the family.

In this connection it may be added, Lakhisarai (in Bihar) Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar,  said  that  chargesheet against Ayesha and others is filed in the court. Local Raipura police had taken the custody of Ayesha and others three months ago and no details on the further development was available as of now.
