Farmer speaking on stage dies

Bajpe, June 05, 2014:  A progressive farmer Tyampanna Shetty (83), a resident of Malloor Pari, who was addressing a gathering at seed mela organised by Kaikamba Nesara Kendriya Samanvaya Samithi, Spandana SHG and Disha Trust, died of heart attack on the stage on June 4.  Tyampanna Shetty, emotionally charged, had lamented over negligence attitude towards agriculture in general. With modern technology, one can fetch profit in farming, he said and collapsed.
