A case of cheating - 3 in police custody

Udupi, June 05, 2014:  According to reports, Malpe police have apprehended 3 men for cheating  ’Malpe Madhwaraj Trust’  in the form of  extorting donations fictional educational institute.   The police state, the prime accused, Pradeep Kumar hailing from Haradi in Brahmavar along with Yogeesh from Kolambe in Brahmavar and Subramanya from Chantaru in Brahmavar, collected funds from the trust for  ’Tallur Vadiraja Institute’ which did not exist. Pradeep used to collect the funds in the form of cheques and encash the cheques in Vijaya bank in Tallur branch through a fake account created in the name of  ’Tallur Vadiraja Institute’. He would pay commission for Yogeesh and Subramanya for their role in the crime. Case has been registered in Malpe police station.
