Gold ornaments found and Bhadravathi gang in custody

Mangalore, June 14, 2014: According to reliable reports,  Subramanya police are said to have arrested five persons who were engaged in theft of gold from devotees at Subramanya temple premises. The police have recovered gold ornaments valued at Rs.6 lakh. Five persons have been remanded to judicial custody.

The arrested are Durga (23), Susheela (26), Nagaraj (23), Hanumantha (27) and Manoharan (59); said to be hailing from Bhadravathi. During the interrogation it was revealed that the gold was sold to a shop in Bhadravathi.
