Former DK DC V Ponnuraj is private sec to Rail Minister

Mangalore, June 17, 2014: IAS officer V Ponnuraj has been appointed as a private secretary to Railways Minister D V Sadananada Gowda with immediate effect, media reports indicate. The appointment has been made by the Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, following the State government relieving the officer from the State service. V Ponnuraj it may be recalled was DC of Dakshina Kannada at Mangalore.
