Ullal: Accused in a case assaults youth

Ullal, June 28, 2014: 2 youth suffered injuries when a man assaulted them over a trivial issue, near Paneer church in Deralakatte June 28. The police state, the injured are Lalith (24) and his brother Preetham (23). The accused Narayan Salian, in an attempt to overtake a two-wheeler literally tried to hit the two-wheeler ridden by the youth. Following this, the two brothers intercepted Salian’s car and demanded an explanation.

Salian who became furious at the brothers, brought out a sickle from a parked Mescom’s vehicle and allegedly assaulted the duo. The Ullal police rushed to the spot and took Salian into custody. It is noted that Salian was an accused in an attempt to murder a lawyer in Mangalore.
