Gold smuggling to Kerala youth allegedly murdered

Mangalore, July 07, 2014:  As per some reports it is learnt, murder of two youths at Attavar in Mangalore took place a week ago connected to rivalry between gold smugglers. Mangalore police have not confirmed the reports. Sources said that two youth from Kerala, Fahim of Kozhikode and Nisar of Thalassery were killed in a lodge in Attavar and were buried in Kundamkuzhi in Kasargod.

At least three persons, hailing from Kasargod are said to be in police custody in connection with the case. The police from Mangalore have visited the homes of slain persons. Kasargod Superintendent of Police Thomson Jose told media that Mangalore police were inquiring into the crime.
