Death in prison of undertrial

Udupi, Aug 11, 2014:   An undertrial who was suffering from tuberculosis (TB) died, at district hospital in Udupi on august 10. 

The deceased named is Uday Naik (38), a resident of Hemmanke. Though he was shifted to district hospital on August 8, he did not respond to the treatment and died, as per a statement by  jail authorities.
