SP inaugurates control room, child helpline

Kundapur,Aug 16, 2014: Speaking after inaugurating police control and women and child helpline in association with Lions Club, at Shastri Circle on Aug 15,  SP Rajendra Prasad. said there is a need to create awareness to check accidents.

The police department will take up people- friendly activities.  The police department has been using modern technology to tackle crime cases and also to check increase in assault on women and children, he added. AC Yogishwar said all have responsibility to maintain harmony and also to check crimes in the society.

To check atrocities against women and children, a meeting of head teachers of all the schools was convened recently. Effective programmes will be chalked out in association with the police and various public organisations to check the atrocities.  Additional SP Santhosh Kumar, Kundapur DySP C B Patil and others were present.
