Burglary at Malpe

UDUPI, Sep 09, 2014: Thieves gained entry into a house and decamped with gold ornaments and cash worth Rs 1.25 lakh here at Kadekar in Malpe. According to the police, they have ransacked the house in the absence of the complainant Devdass Shetty. The complainant had been to Bangalore along with his wife. The missing gold ornaments comprises of Mangalsutra and two pairs of ear studs. A case has been registered in Malpe police station.
