Applications invited for honorary award

Mangalore, Sep 11, 2014: The Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy has invited applications for ‘Honorary Awards 2014’ in the field of Beary literature, art and language, reports DHNS from Mangalore.

The Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy Registrar Umarabba said that two people from the fields of Beary language, literature and research and one from the field of Beary art forms, who have contributed immensely for development of Beary literature, will be conferred with the honorary award.

Applications can be submitted either by those seeking awards or through nominations.

Awards for books : The Beary Sahitya academy has also invited applications to awards for books in Beary language by writers and publishers. The works should have been published in the year of 2013.

The works may include books translated from Beary language to other languages and those from other languages to Beary language.
