BCom student ends life

Puttur, Oct 5, 2014 : A first-year BCom Student committed suicide at the hostel room on Oct 2. The deceased has been identified as Alok (18), of St Philomena College. Hailing from Murnad in Madikeri, he is the son of Lokanath.

In the pretext of getting textbooks from the hostel, Alok had visited the hostel after taking holiday for preparing semester exam. However, he commited suicide by hanging. Police have registered a case and further investigations are on.
