Two lost life in boat mishap

Mangalore Feb 9: Two persons lost their life, when a boat capsized in the Netravati river under Ullal police station limits on Monday, February 8.

 

 

The deceased have been identified as Anil a resident of Pandit house in Ullal and Suresh, a resident of Paneer near Deralakatte. Suresh’s brother too was involved in the incident, rescued himself as he swam to the shore. The boat, reportedly, keeled over after they nearly traveled an hour and covered a distance of about three kilometers in the river.

The hardware shop owner Anil’s body was found after search operation conducted by local fishermen and fire service personnel. While Suresh’s body found in the late night. A case in  this regard has been lodged by the Ullal police.
