Cardiologists meet October 17 to 19

Mangalore, Oct 17, 2014:  Cardiology Society of India, Karnataka Chapter will organise its 11th annual conference at Pacific Hall in The Ocean Pearl Hotel in Mangalore from October 17 to 19.

Addressing mediapersons in Mangalore on Thursday October 16, Organising Chairman Dr Yusuf Kumble said that Rajiv Gandhi University Vice Chancellor Dr KS Ravindranath will inaugurate the conference at 12.40 pm. Shri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology (Bangalore) Director Dr C N Manjunath will be the chief guest.

Around 300 cardiologists from across the state are expected to take part in the conference. The pre conference CME will be held on October 17, he said. Yusuf added that 35 experts will deliver talks on the occasion and 45 scientific papers will be presented during the conference.

Senior cardiologists from the state will be felicitated on the occasion. Dr P S Bhat will be presented the lifetime achievement award.  The conference is organised to create awareness among the doctors on the availability of latest treatment modalities for cardiac related problems.
