Mangaluru : A Housewife attempted in Kadri

Mangaluru , Nov 4, 2014: A 37-year-old woman attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison at her residence here on November 3.

The woman has been identified as Sushma (37), wife of Gopalakrishna K A, resident of Kadri.

It is learnt that being in depression for some time Sushma consumed poison at her residence at Kadri Towers.

She was rushed to the hospital in the city. Her condition is said to be critical. A case has been registered in Kadri police station.

Sushma is survived by husband and 7-year-old son.  The exact reason for the extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
