A village name board in Tulu script;Yuva Kesari Sangha sets the trend

Mangaluru, Nov 06, 2014:  In tune with the objective of the proposed Vishwa Tuluvere Parba which aims at promoting Tulu language, culture and traditions, the Koikude Yuva Kesari Sangha, a youth organisation here, has attracted the attention of many  by putting up a village name board wherein the name of the village is written in Tulu script too along with Kannada script.

 

The move of the Sangha has been well appreciated and many feel it will be a model for many others to follow.
