CII to initiate road show to promote the industry - academia bond

Mangaluru, Dec 06, 2014:  Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management will host a road show of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at Sahyadri Campus on December 6 at 10.15am.  The aim is  to help the industry-academia bond to strengthen and also to get associated with diverse industries to help the student community, Issues will be deliberated and discussed to bring professionalism in them at the Incubation centre and Placement and training centre of the institute.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) with its vast network of member industries work closely with the Department of Higher Education and the Directorate of Technical Education in promoting Industry Institute Interface and initiate several activities to improve the industry orientation in technical education on a regular basis through Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP).

It is facilitated through access to webinars, Specific session on innovation, CEO/ CXO Speak, Facilitate faculty to visit industries in mapping academics and Industry, Faculty Development program, Industry Specific Programs - Technical knowledge- Innovation/R&D-HR, Career Guidance.

CII works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the development of India, partnering industry, Government, and civil society, through advisory and consultative processes.  The opportunity  for local students is a good fortune.
