Man dies after fall from tree.

Udupi :  A farmer who ventured  pluck coconuts, accidentally slipped from the tree, fell down and died at Shiriyar village coming under Kota police station limits on March 8.

According to the police, Chikka alias Shankar (48) had climbed a coconut tree in the garden of Lakshmi Poojarti at Shiriyar village to pluck coconuts at around 11.20 a.m. But he accidentally slipped and fell down.

An injured and unconscious Chikka was rushed to the District Government Hospital in Udupi, where he later died. A case of unnatural death had been registered, the police said.
