Adivasi- Koragara Mela on May 10, Sunday

Mangalu, May 10, 2015 : In an info briefing to media , Koragajja Seva Trust President Lakshman Vamanjoor said artistes from Koraga community will present Dollu, Chende, Kolalu, Kaisale from 11 am onwards near Mangalajyothi in Vamanjoor on May 10.  Koragajja Seva Trust, Vamanjoor, will organise a State level Adivasi Koragara Kala Mela and Yuvajana Uthsava.

A stage programme will be held at 9 am in the morning. Alva’s Educational Foundation Chairman Dr Mohan Alva will preside, International Monk Society Secretary Bhanthe Datta Nalanda Buddhavihara graces and delivers spiritual discourse, district in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai, MLA B Mohiyuddin Bava, MCC Mayor Jacintha Vijay Alfred M P Nalin Kumar Kateel are guests. A Tulu yaksgagana play ’ Dhjarmadaiva Raktheshwari’ will be staged by artistes of Sri Talakala Mela troupe lead by Nithin Poojary at 10 pm. Koragajja Seva Samithi office bearers Taranath, Shekhar Vamanjoor and Kariya K were present at the briefing.
