Udupi, June 03, 2015: As per reports from Udupi, General Insurance Employees Cooperative Credit Society, Ajjarkadu president Suresh Shetty said as many as 120 students have been admitted for the new batch of PU education in the process of enrolment, for private Pre University College in Nellikatte in Mudubelle.  Shetty said that the attentive and quality education imparted has increased the number of students for current academic year. The college which is associated with General Insurance Employees Cooperative Credit Society would be henceforth detached and made separate entity. It is running under loss since past five years and it would be appropriate to make the college separate unit, to provide extra concentration for college growth.

He assured the transfer of college into separate entity is part of eliminating administrative inconvenience and would not create any problems for education imparted in the college. The college which came into existence during 2011-12 has been offering quality education on the basis of free education. The rural students are benefited under initiatives taken up by the administration.  The result is around 98 per cent with majority students excelling in the exams.
