Serve dedication naturopaths exhorted

Ujire, June 13, 2015 : State government’s senior administrative officer Nilaya Mithash said more people are seen to be suffering from lifestyle related ailments these days and with the help of naturopathy and yoga practice, one can cure such diseases.

Addressing the annual day participants of SDM Naturopathy and Yogic Science College in Ujire,  the administrator said physicians have to serve people with dedication and commitment. The patients should be given proper information on ailments. Cure is rapid and complete  if the doctor and patient share a cordial relationship. Errors committed by officials could be rectified, but not those committed by doctors. The knowledge should be converted to skills. In the backdrop of globalisation, yoga and naturopathy come to the rescue of many and one can have a peaceful mind by practicing these.

Presiding over the function, SDM College Principal B Yashovarma called upon the students to cultivate creative thinking. Limited knowledge will not help in high achievement. One has to make consistent efforts to expand the horizon of their knowledge.

Addressing media June 12,  Friday, Mangalore Nephro Urology Charitable Trust President Dr Muhammed Salim said  Kidney patients association will be inaugurated at the IMA Hall in Hampankatta on June 14 Sunday. 

 The trust president also said  DK DC  Adoor B Ibrahim will inaugurate the association, Kanachur Hospital and Research Centre President U K Monu, Canara Builders Association President Sudesh Kumar, White stone foundation President BM Sharif, St Ann’s Group of Institutions president Eric C Lobo and Bapnad Foundation President M Rizwan Bapnad will participate as the chief guests. Mangalore Nephro Urology Charitable Trust President Dr Muhammed Salim will preside over.   Kovai Hospital, Coimbatore Nephrology department Head and renown kidney transplantation surgeon Dr Vivek Pathak will take part in an interactive session on the occasion.

A CME programme will be held on the same day at 10 am at the same venue. Dr Vivek Pathak will detail upon kidney related ailments.

Mangalore Nephro Urology Charitable Trust and Mangalore Obstetric and Gynecology Society will be the organisers of the programme, Dr Salim said and added that senior Urologist Dr P Venugopal will inaugurate the CME. Dr Hansraj Alva, Dr Sushanth Kumar and Dr A Arun Rao will be the guests.
