Inter college cultural competitions in September

Mangaluru,Aug 23, 2015: According to reports received, Vishwamanava Vidyarthi Yuva Vedike will organise a State-level annual inter-collegiate cultural fest cum competitions at Kala Mandir in Mysuru on September 3, 4 and 5, said State president N Manoj, in Mangaluru.

He said that the 13-year-old forum is conducting the event from the past eight years. Around 3,000 students from nearly 100 colleges from across the state will participate in the event. The three-day event will have music, dance, drama, recital of poems, painting and varieties of stage performances by the students.

This year a half marathon of engineering, polytechnic, arts, commerce and science students will be held from North entrance of the palace to Kala Mandir with a message to stop the suicide of farmers, on September 4 at 6.50 am, Manoj further explained.

SDM Business Management College Director Dr Devraj K released the poster of the event. Forum District president Sahil Rai, Sumith Raj of Leo Club and others were present.
