Plaint against educational institution

Mangaluru :  P S Renuka, mother of Pritam,a first PU student, has  lodged a complaint at Kadri police station alleging that the management of an educational institution cheated by not providing a seat to her son, as per the requirement, and had also not returned Rs 3.35 lakh collected as ’fee’.

She stated that the college management had received Rs 2.50 lakh in the form of DD and Rs 85.5 lakh in cash towards a seat in the college at Valacchil.  However, a bill was not given for the payment of the latter. But, the seat was given in the college in Kodialbail under the same management. As there are no proper facilities in the college, Pritam left the college and joined other college.

But when the she requested a refund of the fee, the PRO, the chairman, secretary and principal abused her and threatened her she sates.
