Stating that ’Make in India’, Digital India and MyGov projects are interlinked, he said Digital India should make sure that everything is transparent. It is not only about the dissemination of information through information technology, but is about creating awareness among people on how to access it. For instance, farmers should be able to access the details of land records on their own.

The status of ration cards and other services should also be made available through the digital information system and the general public should be aware that in what way the information is made available for them. In a nutshell, the digital information should be pro-people.
