NITK Alumni Association’s convention from December 18

Mangaluru :  The 10th Global Convention of NITK Surathkal Alumni Association (NITKAA) would witness addition of academic and infrastructure facilities to the premier technical education institution of the State.   The association has plans to set up a round-the-clock skill development centre and unveil a comprehensive and interactive website of NITKAA.

The association’s three-day global convention would start on December 18 with Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev of Isha Foundation delivering the keynote address.  Bhaskar Bhat, managing director, Titan Co. Ltd, and an alumni of NITK, would be the chief guest.

After the inaugural, a business plan workshop would follow where students and alumni get the opportunity to present their ideas to a set of individuals. The top five business plans would be eligible to present at the start-ups panel the next day. The Association also entered with an MoU with Washington-based National Education Foundation on December 4 to set up the skill development centre.
