District-level sports meet for schools - Jan 15 & 16.

Dec 30, 2015: As per media information, Mangaluru unit of Kreeda Bharati and the Dakshina Kannada District Physical Teachers’ Association are jointly conducting sports competitions for primary and secondary school students from across the district. It will be held at the Mangala Stadium on January 15 and 16.

The events consist of sprint, long jump, high jump, shot put and discuss throw for children aged between 10 and 14 years. There will be swimming and wrestling events also for them. For children aged between 14 and 17 years, competitions will be held in volleyball, kabaddi, handball and badminton.
