Rs 4 lakh gold stolen from Udupi woman

Udupi, Jan 25, 2016: As per reports,  Gold Jewelry worth Rs 4 lakh was stolen from a woman who was carrying them in a bag as she was travelling from Udupi to Hejamady.

Chandrika H was on her way to her mother’s house at Kidiyoor, during the Paryaya celebartionson January 18 evening. It is said that she had kept the jewelry in a plastic box in a bag and travelled by a Volvo bus from Udupi Government bus stand to Padubidri. After reaching her destination in an auto at about 8 pm, she noticed that the bag was torn and jewelry worth Rs 4 lakh was missing.  Chandrika has filed an FIR complaint at Padubidri station on January 23.
