First year medico ends life in Manipal Uni hostel

Manipal, Jan 26, 2016 : It is reported a student 19-year-old first year MBBS at KMC was found hanging in his hostel room at Nehru Block of Manipal University here Jan 24.

According to the Manipal police, the student was Pranjal Patak from Hyderabad, who was studying in Kasturba Medical College.  Inspector of Manipal Police Station, said that the student had written a death note stating that he was bored of life and he was ending it. He had written that he alone was responsible for his death.

A bright student, say his mates, he seemed depressed in the last seven days, investigation is taken up a case has been registered.
