"Saamarasya 2016" show casing culture, food at KACES campus Jan 30 & 31

Mangaluru, Jan 29, 2016: It is officially informed,  KACES - Karnataka Christian Educational Society, an umbrella organization of educational, vocational training institution, as part of its mandate on peace initiatives is organizing Saamarasya 2016, a two-day festival of food, culture and peace at KACES ground, Balmatta here from January 30. While Kalothsava, a cultural festival will be held on January 30, Aaharotsava, a food festival will be held the following day.

Rev Anil Kumar, treasurer, KACES stated that Dekan Bernd Liebendoerfer of Oekumenische Pfarrerinnen und Pfarrerhilfe, Germany will inaugurate Kalothsava. Rev Honey Cabral, principal, KTC and secretary, KACES will preside. Many renowned cultural groups and educational institutions will participate. J R Lobo, Mangaluru City South MLA will inaugurate the food festival. Rev Cabral will preside. Various traditional and ethnic food will be served at the festival.
