Symposium for Hospitality industry, Manipal Feb 26, Friday

Manipal, Feb 25, 2016 :  The Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration will organise a National Hospitality Symposium 2016: General Managers’ Conclave here on February 26.

According to a press release issued by Manipal University, the symposium will provide a platform to the hospitality industry leaders to meet, interact and share their experiences with academicians and students.

Some of the topics that will be covered by the speakers are ‘Changing hotel landscapes’; ‘New trends in hotel design – smart building and guest rooms of the future’; ‘Future of hotel branding’; ‘Emerging trends in service delivery’; ‘Dimensions of innovation and customer centric hospitality’ and others.

The speakers are Vikram Cotah, COO, GRT Hotels, Chennai; Sherin Mathew, Director (Sales), Hyatt Regency, Chennai; Anoop Pandey, Director (Rooms), Westin, Gurgaon; Bernard Fernandes, General Manager, Country Inn and Suites, Manipal; and Uday Sharma, General Manager, Fortune Inn Valley View, Manipal.

The Director School of Management, Raveendranath Nayak, will inaugurate the symposium at 9.15 a.m., the release added.
