Science exhibition at Manipal ends today

Manipal, Feb 28, 2016: A press release issued by the SOLS said that the exhibition displaying models and experiments covered various aspects of science. The exhibition  held as part of the National Science Day celebrations.  H. Vinod Bhat, Vice Chancellor of Manipal University, inaugurated a science exhibition at the School of Life Sciences (SOLS), a constituent of Manipal University, on Saturday. The exhibition is open for children, students, parents and teachers till Sunday noon.

Exhibits:  About 50 exhibits including models of engines, lasers, smart houses, kidneys, mitochondrial functions, personalised medicines, bio-indicators, magical flowers and also experiments in the fields of biology and chemistry were showcased.   The exhibits were showcased by faculties, research scholars and high school students of class 10 from schools in Udupi district.

Registrar of the University Narayana Sabhahit and Director of SOLS K. Satyamoorthy were present, the release added.
