Thief of stolen iPad requests owner for password

Udupi, Feb 29, 2016: In a comical incident reported, a thief stole an iPad from a parked car and then asked the owner for the password.

Chidananda, resident of Korangrapadi, had parked his car in front of Udupi court and had gone for lunch on January 20, but when he returned he noticed that his iPad was stolen. On February 25, he received a call from an unknown number and the person asked for the password to unlock the iPad.  Chidananda immediately filed a complaint at Udupi city police station.
