Child worker in bar, rescued

Udupi, March 11, 2016 :  According to official media information, a team paid a surprise visit to the bar at Hattiangadi near here and rescued a 13-year-old boy who was working as a cleaner there. The boy has been sent to Namma Bhoomi, an NGO, at Kanyana village, temporarily for rehabilitation on the directions of the Child Welfare Committee, the release added.

A team of officials from the labour and other related departments rescued a child worker employed  at the bar in  Hattiangadi village near Kundapur on March 10.
