Unidentified body found hanging from a tree

Udupi, March 23, 2016  : On information from people in the area, the police with Fire and Emergency Services rushed to the spot and recouvered the body  of an unidentified person found hanging from a 20-ft high tree at Santhekatte here on March 22 Tuesday.

The body was then taken to the District Government Hospital for post-mortem. The police suspect that the body might be that of a migrant worker.  A case had been registered at the Udupi Town Police Station and investigations were on, the police said.
