Silver ware from temple taken away by gang

 Mangaluru, April 12, 2016: It is reported that a gang broke into the Sri Mahadevi Nandikeshwara Temple and decamped with silver ware and other items at Malyady in Thekkatte village of Kundapur taluk.

According to the police, the gang broke into the Sri Mahadevi Nandikeshwara Temple between 7 p.m. on April 10 and 7 a.m. on April 11. The items stolen included a 1.5 kg silver prabhavali and a silver tumbler. The value of the items stolen had been estimated at Rs. 43,000. A case has been registered at the Kota police station. Investigation is progressing.
