Mangaluru, May 19, 2016: With the city and the district observing a bundh today to pressurise the government to dop the controversial Yettinahole Project as per the call given by anti-Yettinahole activists, Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner has warned of strict action against any one who forces people to close down their shops or business establishments. Those who cause any inconveniece to the bpublc during the bundh will also face stern action, the DC has warned.
It may be recalled here that activists had earlier refused to heed to the administration’s demand against holding a bundh and had assured that the bundh would be voluntary and peaceful.
