Gangolli police find drowned fisherman

Udupi, June 09, 2016: As per reliable reports, a fisherman working in Panchagangavali rivulet drowned near Gangolli village in Udupi district on Tuesday and his body was recovered on June 8, Wednesday.

According to the police, Rajesh Kharvi (32), a resident of Gangolli, had gone for fishing in Panchagangavali rivulet. But he accidentally slipped from the boat and fell into the rivulet and was feared drowned. His body, which could not be traced earlier, was recovered from the river on June8,  Wednesday. A case of unnatural death has been registered at Gangolli police station.
