Samudaya Bhavan at Udupi, inauguration June11, Saturday

Udupi, June 09, 2016: The Sri Narayana Guru Samudaya Bhavan in Udupi, built at a cost of Rs. 50 lakh would be inaugurated at Ambalpady here on June 11, Saturday.

Addressing media on June 8,  Wednesday, Gopal C. Bangera, president of the Billava Seva Sangha, said that the sangha had been functioning for the last 55 years. One of the ambitious projects of the sangha was the construction of the Sri Narayana Guru Samudaya Bhavan. The Department of Social Welfare had given a grant of Rs. 25 lakh for its construction.

The Samudaya Bhavan would be inaugurated by Pramod Madhwaraj, MLA, while Vinay Kumar Sorake, Urban Development Minister, would inaugurate the hall at 5.30 p.m. on that day. The inaugural function would be followed by cultural programmes, he said.  Kushal Kumar A. and Shivakumar A., office-bearers of the sangha, were present.
